Dwa kolejne zestawy z moich zbiorów klasyki Lego, to pozycje z serii Town z końca lat 90tych, których wspólnym elementem była możliwość otrzymania ich na stacjach Shella. 2554 Formula 1 Pit Stop z 1998 roku, składający się ze 168 elementów i 5 minifigów oraz 1254 Shell Convenience Store z 1999 roku, składający się ze 159 elementów i 3 minifigów. Pierwszy zestaw to dobrze wyposażony pitstop z dwoma bolidami w formie, w jakiej występowały w drugiej połowie lat 90tych. Jest płyta bazowa 16×16, elementy z nadrukiem i naklejką, wyraźnie zaznaczone barwy Shella, a figurki występują w dwóch rodzajach uniformu i są najmocniejszym elementem tego zestawu. Same bolidy, to forma, którą Lego stosowało od 1996 roku, chociażby w bolidzie Octana 6546, czy torze wyścigowym z metą 6337. Drugi z zestawów, wyszedł wraz z takimi pozycjami dostępnymi na stacjach Shella jak myjnia z 1255, czy kawałek stacji z dystrybutorami z 1256. Prezentowany tutaj zestaw przedstawia sklep związany ze stacją benzynową, na którym poza elementami pożywienia można było nabyć wyposażenie do aut. Zestaw oparty o płytę 8×32 przedstawia budynek sklepu, trochę wystawionego towaru oraz drobne wyposażenie. Całość uzupełnia małe auto terenowe oraz rower. Figurki to dwóch klientów oraz sprzedawczyni. Pozycje ciekawe jak na koniec lat 90tych i patrząc na inne zestawy z tego okresu nie są tak uproszczone i posiadają sporo szczegółów. Zestawy godne polecenia wytrwałym kolekcjonerom serii Town.
The next two sets from my collection of Lego classics are items from the Town series from the late 90s, the common element of which was the possibility of obtaining them at Shell stations. 2554 Formula 1 Pit Stop from 1998, consisting of 168 pieces and 5 minifigs, and 1254 Shell Convenience Store from 1999, consisting of 159 pieces and 3 minifigs. The first set is a well-equipped pit stop with two cars in the form in which they appeared in the second half of the 90s. There is a 16×16 base plate, elements with a print and a sticker, clearly marked Shell colors, and the figures come in two types of uniform and are the strongest element of this set. The cars themselves are a form that Lego has used since 1996, for example in the Octana car 6546 or the race track with the finish line 6337. The second set came out with such items available at Shell stations as a car wash with 1255 or a piece of station with distributors from 1256. The set presented here shows a shop associated with a gas station, where, apart from food items, you could buy car accessories. The set based on the 8×32 board shows the shop building, some goods on display and small equipment. The whole is complemented by a small off-road car and a bicycle. The figures are two customers and a saleswoman. Items interesting for the late 90s and looking at other sets from this period are not so simplified and have a lot of details. Sets worth recommending to persistent collectors of the Town series.
